That looks disgusting. Sorry for your loss. Kudos to the engineering team at Gillette for designing something so long lasting though.

The way you wrote this I thought you meant the razor too and I was looking at those blades harder than I needed to

    3. I’ve had mine for roughly the same amount of time. Hell of a good razor. I’ve attempted others, but always come back to this.

    4. Well done, razor. Bury it in the back yard with all due respect and then spend a few dollars on an exact replacement. I believe it’s demonstrated its durability 👏

    5. My single bladed safety razor is about 15 years old, and it’s solid metal. Blades are about $10 for 100. Takes some skill (just a little) but I get a cleaner shave and it’s wayyyyyy cheaper.

    6. Got mine 30 year’s ago with some other stuff and a card that said “Congrats on becoming a man, now shave like one”. This was kind of pre / early internet so I always wondered how they knew. – Gillette Sensor

It’s amazing how durable they can make stuff when it is attached to overpriced disposable razors.

Now is a great time to switch to an old-timey safety razor. You’ll get a better shave and it will be five cents per blade instead of four bucks. Plus, you get to feel like a fancy gentleman with your badger-hair brush.

That was the one they mail you when you enlist in Selective Service when you turn 18?

    11. now, come to the world of safety razors. Small learning curve, but very enjoyable and doesn’t take a whole lot longer than shaving with a mach3.

🚽 “Anyone seen my razor, it’s not in the toilet where I normally leave it”.
